The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences established the Silver Circle as a society of honor to recognize outstanding individuals who have performed distinguished service within the television industry for 25 years or more.
Membership in the Silver Circle is one of the highest honors bestowed by NATAS. Television professionals are inducted into this prestigious group to recognize their significant contributions to Chicago or Wisconsin broadcasting.
Nominees in journalistic, academic, administrative, creative, performing, or technical roles within the television industry are eligible. An individual’s entire career need not have been spent in Chicago or Wisconsin broadcasting, but their career must reflect enduring contributions to the television industry and the high standards of excellence that all who work in our profession hope to emulate.
