The Silver Circle Award was established to recognize and honor outstanding individuals who have devoted 25 years or more to the television industry and who have either made significant contributions to local broadcasting, or who have spent the formative years of their career in chapter region. Nominees in academic, administrative, creative, journalistic, performing, or technical roles within the television industry are eligible.

Honors presentation

Sunday, September 12, 2021
3 pm to 5 pm

For the first time in its 30-year history, the Silver Circle Honors presentation scheduled for 2020 had to be postponed because of the covid pandemic.

We are now planning a virtual celebration for Sunday, September 12, 2021 for those who were going to be inducted into our prestigious Silver Circle in 2020.

Congratulations to our inductees!

The program will air on WCIU, the U, from 3 pm to 5 pm (central time). The show will also be streamed online via youtube on our web page at chicagoemmyonline.org.

WCIU, The U is on WMEU, Channel 48.1 and WCIU, Channel 26.2, XFINITY 230|360, RCN 610, WOW 170, Dish 48, Spectrum Charter 191 and U-Verse 24.

All ad artwork should be submitted with all elements already in place (logos, photos, etc should not be in separate files). Files in a PDF or JPEG format are accepted and it is preferred that ads be e-mailed.
Flat art and stats also accepted and must be camera ready.

The Emmy Awards program book will be displayed online 7 1/2" x 10".
If provided, ads can be printed in color. Color ads must use CMYK.
